The primary focus will be on a candidate with strong analytics and financial reporting experience, particularly those who have worked closely with or reported directly to the CFO.
Business Performance Analysis, Reporting & Investor Support:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly treasury MIS - interest cost summaries, investment income, debt schedules, and covenant dashboards.
- Build and maintain Excel-based financial models and data packs for quarterly investor reporting and Board presentations.
- Support the CFO in preparation of investor presentations and earnings-related financial disclosures.
- Prepare periodic business performance analysis - track revenue, cost, and profitability trends across regions and properties and explain variances against budget and prior periods.
- Conduct ad hoc business and financial analysis as directed by the Head of Finance or CFO.
Corporate Finance, Project Appraisal & Special Projects:
- Build financial models and business cases for new projects, expansion proposals, and strategic initiatives - evaluating IRR, NPV, and payback and running sensitivity and scenario analysis.
- Conduct feasibility studies and commercial appraisals for new screens / properties, new formats, and other growth opportunities to support investment decisions.
- Partner and coordinate closely with projects, business development, operations, and commercial teams - gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and aligning on project economics.
- Support M&A, refinancing, and other strategic evaluations with financial analysis, due-diligence inputs, and management presentations.
- Lead or support special projects and one-off strategic assignments driven by the CFO / Head of Finance - from analysis through to execution.
- Prepare ad hoc decision-support packs and business analysis to help leadership evaluate opportunities and take timely corrective action.
