We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead end-to-end financial operations, regulatory compliance, and treasury management for our manufacturing business. This role reports to executive leadership and acts as a key business partner responsible for driving financial governance, operational efficiency, and cash flow optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Lead and streamline month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in strict compliance with Ind AS and statutory frameworks.
- Design, compile, and present monthly MIS, budget vs. actual variance reports, and executive dashboards for leadership and Board meetings.
Treasury & Working Capital Management:
- Manage daily liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and fund positioning to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and procurement operations.
- Oversee banking relationships, working capital limits, term loan covenants, Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantee (BG), and Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDR).
- Optimize working capital cycles across inventory, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Taxation, Compliance & Governance:
- Supervise operational controls across AP, AR, GST, TDS, advance tax, and payroll compliances.
- Direct the timely filing of direct/indirect tax returns, annual returns, and tax assessments.
- Manage and close Statutory, Internal, Tax, and Cost Audits with zero non-compliance.
Planning, Budgeting & Controls:
- Lead annual budgeting exercises, mid-term forecasting, and Capex evaluation for plant operations.
- Establish robust internal financial controls (IFC), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and cost-control initiatives across plant sites.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). Additional qualifications (ICWA/CMA/CS) are an advantage.
- Experience: Significant exposure to the manufacturing sector (plant accounting, inventory controls, supply chain finance).
- Technical Acumen: In-depth working knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Direct Tax regulations, Cost Audit mechanisms, and banking instruments (LC/BG/Term Loans).
- Systems: Hands-on experience with Tier-1 ERPs (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel/Power BI.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary finance teams and interfacing directly with executive boards and external auditors.
