Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager - Accounts Payable - Shared Services - CA

Hiring for Senior Manager/AGM Accounts Payable for Leading Shared Services based in Navi Mumbai. Qualified CA with 6+ years of experience in Accounts Payable with SAP mandatory.

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the AP team set clear goals and monitor performance

- Define and drive the AP strategy aligned with the broader Finance vision

- Lead automation and digitization initiatives to streamline AP processes

- Ensure scalability of AP operations to cater to expanding the business

Operational Excellence:

- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations including invoice processing, vendor payments, debit/credit notes, employee reimbursements, and TDS/GST compliance

- Monitor and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and KPIs with internal stakeholders and vendors

- Ensure timely and accurate closure of books for AP as part of the month-end and year-end processes

- Manage vendor reconciliations and address escalations from business units

- Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, and Tax teams to ensure smooth AP operations

Compliance & Controls:

- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements

- Monitor compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations related to vendor payments

- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for AP-related audits

Technology & Transformation:

- Leverage ERP systems (SAP preferred) and workflow tools to enhance process efficiency

- Drive adoption of AI/ML-based tools for invoice processing and anomaly detection

- Identify and implement opportunities for process reengineering and automation
