Role & Responsibilities

- Lead the analytics function and manage a team of data/analytics professionals to deliver high-impact business insights.

- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across business, product, marketing, finance, operations, and technology to identify and solve strategic business problems.

- Translate complex business questions into analytical frameworks, metrics, dashboards, and actionable recommendations.

- Own the development and implementation of data-driven strategies, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and analytics solutions.

- Drive advanced analytics, including trend analysis, segmentation, forecasting, customer analytics, profitability analysis, and performance optimization.

- Build and maintain executive dashboards and management reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.

- Establish robust data quality, governance, documentation, and measurement standards across analytics initiatives.

- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and analytical processes, improving efficiency and scalability.

- Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear, concise, and business-oriented manner.

- Mentor and develop analytics team members, establish best practices, and promote a strong data-driven culture.

- Manage multiple analytics projects simultaneously, including prioritization, stakeholder alignment, timelines, and delivery.

- Evaluate new analytical tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the organization's analytics capabilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 510 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, consulting, or a related field, with relevant experience in a managerial/leadership capacity.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large and complex datasets.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python/R for analytics, statistical analysis, or automation.

- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.

- Strong understanding of statistics, experimentation, forecasting, segmentation, and predictive analytics.

- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and measurable business outcomes.

- Experience managing, mentoring, or leading an analytics/data science team.

- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership through data.

- Strong problem-solving and structured-thinking abilities, with a demonstrated bias toward actionable insights rather than reporting alone.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven organization and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Exposure to cloud/data platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery would be an advantage.

- Candidates from technology, fintech, e-commerce, BFSI, SaaS, consulting, telecom, retail, or other data-intensive industries would be preferred.
