Purpose of the Position (Job Summary) - Responsible for monthly closing of subsidiary accounts, ensure completion of quarterly and annual audits. - Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. - Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures. - Prepare and review financial statements and reports. - Collaborate with other departments for month & year end closing. - Manage and optimize accounting software and systems. - Preparation of Audit Schedules - Monthly Review of Balance Sheet with actions - Perform Vendor Reconciliations - Analysis of employee related accounting - Analysis of working capital and fund planning Strategic - Accounting, Audits and Controlling Customer/ External Orientation - Interaction with the Statutory & Internal Auditors, Interaction with the Govt department officials - Banks & Cross Function Teams People Orientation - Co-ordination with SSC co-ordination. - Strong interpersonal skills and positive work ethic Core operational accountabilities - Audits & Controls - Review & Action on balance sheet & GL's - Inventory control and management - Employee related accounting - Ensure audits of assigned areas are closed without major observations - Automation assignments
