We are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager Accounts Payable (AP) to lead and strengthen the AP, compliance, and audit framework for a reputed organization in the pharmaceutical sector.

Role Overview

This is a strategic finance leadership role responsible for end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, regulatory compliance, audit facilitation, and financial submissions to pharma authorities in India.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor the AP team ensuring timely, accurate invoice processing and vendor payments

- Design and maintain AP policies aligned with pharma regulations (TDS, SOX, NPPA, statutory compliances)

- Ensure compliance with Indian pharma regulations including DOP, UCPMP Code, and financial submissions

- Lead internal, external, and statutory audits with strong internal controls

- Oversee regulatory filings and financial data submissions to the Department of Pharma

- Drive process improvements, automation, and KPI reporting to senior leadership

- Handle complex escalations and tax assessment cases (Income Tax audits PTP area)

- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Tax, and IT teams

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 46 years of experience in General Accounting / Procure-to-Pay (PTP)

- Experience in large MNCs, Big 4, manufacturing or biopharmaceutical companies

- Strong exposure to UGAAP, Ind AS, statutory & income tax audits

- Hands-on experience with SAP

- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal English mandatory)

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently in a multicultural and virtual environment
