THIS JOB OPPORTUNITY IS WITH AN IT PRODUCT COMPANY The position This position will be responsible for performing the global consolidation of the financials of the company, closing books of accounts and generating financial statements in compliance with the US GAAP. The role will be responsible for managing external audits and tax compliances. The individual should be comfortable working directly with senior management of the company as well as internal and external auditors and tax consultants. Key Responsibilities would include: - Manage the monthly, quarterly and yearly close and consolidation process, working closely with the appropriate stakeholder - Prepare financial statements, P&L and defining accounting standards - Manage the internal quarterly and annual financial reporting including a balance sheet, cash flow, and related analysis - Serve as liaison with various teams to coordinate the timely retrieval of accounting reports and data to perform consolidations - Establish and manage financial reporting deadlines including communication of key dates and calendar - Assist in reviewing financial statement releases and related financial information for board and investor - Coordinate directly with internal and external auditors. Ensure timely process audits - Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Tax, IT, Legal, Accounting teams to manage audits - Obtain, review, and prepare audit responses for inclusion in the draft and final reports. Review audit findings to ensure accuracy. - Perform follow-up activities related to audits/reviews and special projects including ensuring corrective action has been completed. Report out audit findings and observations. - Ensuring Tax compliances in coordination with tax consultants. Preparation of corporate tax returns for India and International locations with the help of external tax consultants Desirable Skills and Competencies - Qualified Chartered Accountant - Strong technical accounting and analysis skills - 10 years- experience in the field of finance - Preferred experience with top 4 audit firm - Experience working with accounting and consolidation systems. - Business support, cash flow, and cost management - Good written and verbal communication skills in English are a must. - Good PC skills (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
