
The Role:
This role will be mainly responsible for the control over Accounts & Finance processes covering Accounting, Payments, Book closure, Reporting, and other areas as identified in brief below. This person will be reporting to CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analysis and dissemination of periodic MIS, quarterly interim financial statements, and year-end financial statements incl Ind AS financials, Tax Audit 3CD report, and other reporting on a timely basis [exclusions: fund accounting and fund administration]
- Responsible for preparing cash flow projections and budget forecasts.
- Responsible for 10+ legal entities
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy in accounting and financial reporting system for the Investment Manager and other related entities within the group.
- Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, Advance tax, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.
- Monitor the entire payment process and follow workflow-based process.
- Interact with various audit teams (statutory audit, internal audit, GST audit, Tax audit, and regulators) and ensure proper coordination and timely audit completion.
Other areas:
- Actively evaluate projects for automation & use of technology to improve efficiency of operations
- Effectively execute any project-based work from time to time in time bound manner and improving current processes by following workflow based organised approach.
- Provide suggestions and implement systems for cost savings and efficiency.
Skills:
- Chartered Accountant with experience of 8 to 10 years post qualification, experience in asset management or private equity industry will be preferred
- Experience of managing a team of at least 3 persons is required
- Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and able to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines. Willingness to get things done, achieve closure on matters.
- Sound technical knowledge of IGAAP and IndAS is required.
- Effective communication across various teams and functions in the organisation is must.
- Experience on working with ERPs like Microsoft D365 system is preferred, Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with fast and exact data processing skills
- Highly professional/institutional and self-motivated candidate, able to effectively work both as an individual contributor and as a leader.
- Quick learner with the ability to quickly turnaround ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
- Must operate with the highest level of integrity and professional conduct
