Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation planning, and supply chain execution for large-scale real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement movement, material availability, warehouse efficiency, cost optimization, and seamless coordination with vendors, project teams, and procurement stakeholders.

The role demands strong expertise in logistics planning, supply chain operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and vendor management within a project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Supply Chain Management:

- Develop and execute logistics strategies to ensure uninterrupted material flow across multiple project locations.

- Manage end-to-end transportation, dispatch planning, freight management, and delivery schedules.

- Monitor logistics performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.

- Ensure timely movement of construction materials, equipment, and project-critical resources.

- Drive supply chain optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Warehouse & Inventory Operations:

- Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, stock movement, and dispatch activities.

- Ensure optimum inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.

- Implement inventory control mechanisms and conduct periodic stock audits.

- Monitor material aging, stock reconciliation, and inventory accuracy.

- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and operational procedures.

Procurement Coordination:

- Collaborate closely with procurement teams for material planning and vendor scheduling.

- Support sourcing teams in forecasting demand and ensuring timely procurement execution.

- Track supplier deliveries and proactively address supply chain disruptions.

- Establish strong relationships with logistics partners, transporters, and vendors.

Process Improvement & Cost Optimization:

- Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiency.

- Implement best practices in transportation planning, route optimization, and warehouse management.

- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives within logistics operations.

- Develop and maintain logistics dashboards, MIS reports, and performance metrics.

Stakeholder Management:

- Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely material availability.

- Provide regular updates to leadership on logistics performance and project support activities.

- Resolve operational challenges and escalations related to material movement and warehousing.

- Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, or Engineering sectors.

- Strong understanding of material movement, project logistics, and inventory planning.

- Experience managing large-scale warehouses and multi-location logistics operations.

- Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, Engineering, or related discipline.

- MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management will be preferred.
