Senior Leadership Role/CEO - Chemicals/Polymers/Resins

Role Mandate:

Lead and scale a multi-location packaging business into a globally competitive, cost-dominant and cash-generative platform. Drive aggressive growth, operational excellence, margin expansion, and strategic expansion (domestic & international) while maintaining tight control over capital allocation and governance.

This role demands a hands-on operator with strong P&L ownership, manufacturing depth, and proven experience building large-scale packaging or petrochemical value-chain businesses.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full P&L Ownership

- Drive revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, and free cash flow improvement

- Optimize cost structures across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and overheads

- Ensure strong working capital discipline and return on capital employed (ROCE)

2. Manufacturing & Operations Leadership

- Lead multi-plant operations with focus on productivity, yield improvement, and OEE enhancement

- Drive lean manufacturing, automation, and digital transformation initiatives

- Ensure plant reliability, safety, compliance, and quality excellence

3. Strategic Growth & Expansion

- Identify and execute greenfield/brownfield expansions

- Lead M&A evaluations and integration

- Expand domestic market share and develop international footprint

- Strengthen relationships with key FMCG, beverage, and industrial clients

4. Commercial & Market Leadership

- Build strong customer partnerships with global and domestic brands

- Drive pricing discipline and margin protection

- Develop new product lines including sustainable and recycled packaging solutions

5. Sustainability & Future Readiness

- Integrate circular economy initiatives and recycling platforms

- Strengthen ESG positioning and regulatory compliance

- Leverage digital tools (ERP, IBP, analytics) for data-driven decision making

6. Organization & Governance

- Build a high-performance leadership team

- Drive succession planning and capability development

- Maintain strong governance, compliance, and board reporting standards

Candidate Profile

- 20+ years of leadership experience in Packaging / PET / Plastics / Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Polymers/Resins

- Proven experience leading large multi-plant operations (India & preferably global exposure)

- Demonstrated track record of scaling revenue and improving EBITDA margins

- Strong understanding of supply chain, exports, and international trade

- Experience in promoter-driven or entrepreneurial setups preferred

- Exposure to digital transformation and operational excellence frameworks
