Senior Leader - Data Architecture

We are looking for a highly seasoned Data Architecture leader-to head our enterprise data architecture function. The ideal candidate is someone who has built and scaled large-scale data platforms and can drive the vision, strategy, and execution of data architecture across the organization.

Key Requirements:

1. Deep Technical Expertise in Large-Scale Distributed Data Systems

- Proven experience in designing and developing enterprise-class, internet-scale distributed data services

- Hands-on background supporting-mission-critical, high-volume transactional systems- with stringent performance, reliability, and availability requirements.

2. Strong Experience Across Modern Data Ecosystems

- Expertise in -Data Lakes- (enterprise-wide storage architectures).

- Strong knowledge in building and managing Data APIs that support internal and external data consumption.

- Experience with Data Fabric / Data Fabrication concepts including metadata-driven data integration, virtualization, and automated data pipelines.

3. Leadership & Organizational Build-Out

- Currently leading or heading a -Data Architecture or Enterprise Data Engineering- function in a mid-to-large organization.

- Demonstrated ability to -build teams, processes, and platforms from scratch-.

- Strong leadership presence with the ability to -define architectural standards, practices, governance models, and align stakeholders across engineering, product, and business.

Ideal Background:

- 20 + years in data engineering / data architecture, with at least 10+ years in a senior or head-of-architecture role.

- Experience in cloud-native data platform architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- A track record of delivering resilient, scalable, secure data systems in high-growth or high-throughput environments.
