Role Overview:

As a Senior Investment Professional, you will be instrumental in driving investment strategy and portfolio growth. This role involves leading the end-to-end investment process, from proactive deal sourcing and in-depth due diligence to investment execution and active portfolio management. You will work closely with founders of promising startups, collaborate with internal investment committees, and engage with co-investors and industry experts. Your contributions will directly impact the identification of future market leaders and the successful scaling of portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead comprehensive deal sourcing and origination efforts, identifying compelling investment opportunities aligned with the firm's strategic focus and investment thesis.

- Conduct rigorous financial modeling, valuation, and in-depth due diligence on prospective investments, presenting well-researched recommendations to the investment committee/LPs.

- Structure, negotiate, and execute complex investment transactions, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with strategic objectives for both the firm and portfolio companies.

- Provide strategic post-investment support to portfolio companies, advising founders on growth strategies, operational improvements, and subsequent fundraising rounds to maximize their potential.

- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing portfolio companies, preparing detailed reports and contributing to strategic decisions regarding follow-on investments or exits.

- Cultivate and expand a robust network of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, industry experts, and advisors to enhance deal flow and market intelligence.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in the venture capital investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and portfolio management.

- Exceptional analytical capabilities, with a proven track record in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis within the technology sector.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of dissecting complex business models and identifying key value drivers.

- Highly effective negotiation and deal-making skills, with experience in structuring and closing venture capital transactions.

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with founders, co-investors, and internal stakeholders.

- Ability to operate autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-performance environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

- An MBA from a premier institution or an equivalent advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field is highly preferred.
