Job Profile:

Job Title: Senior Investment Manager - Real Estate (AIF)

Education & Certifications: CA / CFA / MBA (Finance)

Mandatory: NISM Certification (AIF / Capital Markets)

Experience: 5-8 years in:

- Real Estate Private Equity / AIFs

- Structured Real Estate Lending

- Investment Banking (Real Estate vertical preferred)

Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai

Department: Investment Management

Reporting To: Fund Manager / CIO

Role Overview:

- This is a leadership role responsible for originating, structuring, and executing investments, along with active portfolio management and investor interface.

- The candidate will drive deal-making and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Strategy & IC Leadership:

- Drive investment theses aligned with fund strategy

- Lead Investment Committee (IC) discussions and approvals

- Prepare and present complex investment cases to senior stakeholders

Financial Analysis & Structuring:

- Design and review advanced financial models

- Structure deals (equity, structured debt, mezzanine) to optimize risk-return

Portfolio & Asset Management:

- Oversee portfolio performance across multiple SPVs

- Drive value creation, risk mitigation, and timely exits

- Monitor asset-level execution and financial discipline

Investor & Stakeholder Management:

- Interface with investors for reporting and updates

- Coordinate with legal, technical, and compliance teams

Regulatory Oversight:

- Ensure adherence to SEBI AIF regulations

- Guide internal processes for compliance and governance

Desired Skills:

- Deep understanding of valuation methodologies and structuring for real estate investments.

- Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF regulations and compliance requirements.

- Expertise in financial modelling, asset monitoring, and due diligence.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, optimize capital structures, and mitigate risks.

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in PowerPoint (PTT) for investor presentations and strategic reporting.

- Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling, data analytics, and scenario planning.
