Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Investment Banking Associate with a focus on debt fundraising to join our team
For Investor Relations- With 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, and possessing strong relationships with Institutional investors like Banks, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, NBFCs, Wealth Funds, AIFs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies.
For Originators- With 3-6 years of experience in investment banking and possessing strong relationships with BFSI and Non-BFSI clients across sectors. Have the ability to independently originate transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies tailored to the specific needs and growth.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and investors.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow modelling, risk assessment, and scenario analysis, to support debt issuance decisions and optimise funding structures.
- Due Diligence: Oversee due diligence processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and investor expectations.
- Deal Structuring: Collaborate with senior leadership to structure debt transactions, negotiate terms, and optimise pricing to achieve favourable outcomes.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in debt capital markets to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Presentation and Communication: Prepare compelling pitch materials, presentations, and investment memoranda to effectively communicate the startup's value proposition and financing needs to prospective investors and lenders.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and contribute to the overall success of the investment banking team.
Qualifications:
- Education: CA (Chartered Accountant), MBA, and/or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation preferred.
