Role Overview
As a Senior Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities within the Pre-IPO and SME segments. You will conduct deep-dive financial analysis and due diligence to support capital raising and strategic investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify high-potential SME and Pre-IPO companies; evaluate business models, market positioning, and competitive landscapes.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models, including valuations (DCF, Comparable Analysis), cap table modeling, and sensitivity analysis.
- Due Diligence: Lead the end-to-end due diligence process, assessing financial health, legal compliance, and operational risks.
- Investment Reporting: Prepare detailed investment memos, pitch decks, and performance reports for internal committees and external investors.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of invested companies and provide strategic recommendations to drive value creation.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of regulatory changes in the SME/IPO space and track macroeconomic trends impacting private equity and venture capital.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise: Strong grasp of financial statements, valuation techniques, and equity research.
- Compliance: Knowledge of SEBI regulations and IPO/listing processes in the Indian market.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Bloomberg, or similar financial databases.
- Education: CA, CFA (Level 2 or 3 preferred), or an MBA in Finance from a top-tier institution.

- Proven experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
- Strong networking skills to build relationships with founders and institutional investors.
