As a Senior Investment Analyst (Pre-IPO & SME), you will be at the forefront of identifying and evaluating high-growth private market opportunities across India. This pivotal role involves conducting deep-dive financial analysis, comprehensive due diligence, and robust valuation for potential investments in the Pre-IPO and SME space. You will collaborate closely with our seasoned investment team, engage directly with founders and management teams of target companies, and work alongside external advisors to drive informed investment decisions. Your contributions will directly shape our portfolio's performance, uncover the next generation of market leaders, and significantly impact the firm's strategic growth in the dynamic private equity landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead comprehensive financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis for prospective Pre-IPO and SME opportunities, delivering data-driven recommendations to the Investment Committee.

- Spearhead end-to-end due diligence processes, meticulously assessing commercial viability, financial health, operational capabilities, and legal frameworks of target companies to identify critical risks and value drivers.

- Craft compelling investment memos and presentations, clearly articulating investment theses, financial projections, and risk mitigation strategies for internal stakeholders and potential co-investors.

- Actively monitor and support existing portfolio companies, tracking performance against strategic objectives, identifying value creation initiatives, and collaborating with management to achieve growth milestones.

- Cultivate and expand a robust network within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, engaging with founders, industry experts, and intermediaries to generate proprietary deal flow and enhance market intelligence.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated mastery in advanced financial modeling, valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, multiples analysis), and investment analysis, preferably gained within private equity, venture capital, or investment banking.

- Exceptional analytical acumen and critical thinking capabilities, enabling the deconstruction of complex business models and market dynamics into actionable investment insights.

- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate intricate financial concepts and investment rationales persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and external partners.

- A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related quantitative discipline from a top-tier institution is highly valued; a CFA charter holder is a distinct advantage.

- Proven ability to excel in a demanding, results-oriented environment, managing multiple high-priority projects with precision and autonomy while being based out of our Mumbai office.
