Role Overview:
As a Senior Investment Analyst specializing in Pre-IPO and SME investments, you will be at the forefront of identifying and evaluating high-growth potential companies poised for significant market impact. Your day-to-day will involve in-depth financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to assess investment opportunities. You will collaborate closely with the investment team, senior management, and external stakeholders, including company founders and advisors. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence investment decisions, contributing to the firm's overall portfolio performance and driving value creation for our investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess the attractiveness of potential pre-IPO and SME investment opportunities.
- Perform thorough due diligence, including industry research, competitive landscape analysis, and management team assessments, to identify key risks and opportunities.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations to communicate investment recommendations to the investment committee.
- Monitor portfolio company performance, track key metrics, and provide ongoing support to portfolio companies to maximize their growth potential.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, venture capitalists, and other relevant stakeholders to source new investment opportunities and stay abreast of market trends.
- Contribute to the development of investment strategies and thematic research to identify emerging investment trends and opportunities.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis.
- Proven ability to perform comprehensive due diligence and identify key investment risks and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and a willingness to learn and grow.
