The organization is seeking a creative, experienced and highly driven Senior Interior Designer to contribute to the conceptualization and execution of high-end interior spaces.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The role will be responsible for the conceptualization, design development and execution of high-end interior spaces, ensuring luxury, innovation, functionality and design excellence across projects.

The incumbent will work closely with senior stakeholders, architects, consultants, contractors and vendors to translate design intent into high-quality, executable outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the on-site management and execution of interior design projects.

- Coordinate with the reporting manager on design execution, feasibility studies and design briefs.

- Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide trusted design advice.

- Ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.

- Develop detailed design concepts, design proposals, mood boards and material palettes.

- Build and manage relationships with local and international vendors for sourcing materials and products.

- Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary consultants.

- Work closely with structural, facade, MEP, lighting, sustainability and other specialist consultants.

- Read, review, edit and maintain working drawings to facilitate efficient site execution.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive physical and digital material library for interior and exterior applications.

- Monitor project management activities and advise on resource allocation and requirements.

- Identify design and execution challenges and develop effective, practical solutions.

- Ensure design intent, detailing and quality are consistently maintained throughout project execution.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, design trends and industry practices.

QUALIFICATION

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design is mandatory.

- Master's degree in Interior Design from a reputed institute would be preferred.

- A degree in Architecture would be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

- 9-12 years of strong professional experience with reputed architecture, interior design, real estate or design firms.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the luxury segment is preferred.

- Strong experience in high-end residential, mixed-use, hospitality or premium real estate interiors.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of relevant 3D modelling/rendering tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite/Illustrator, Rhino, Lumion, V-Ray or other relevant design software.

- Strong understanding of working drawings, detailing and site execution.

- Experience in vendor development, material sourcing and contractor coordination.

- Ability to work effectively with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and senior stakeholders.

- Strong project coordination, time management and problem-solving abilities.

- High degree of attention to detail and commitment to design quality.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Self-directed, confident, articulate and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
