Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Human Resources Specialist/Manager with 5-8 years of progressive HR experience to join our growing team.
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner, responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, HR policy development, and compliance.
- This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive HR initiatives that support our business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management & Acquisition:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for key positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and effective integration for new hires.
- Contribute to talent development initiatives, including training programs and career pathing.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance and resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
- Conduct thorough investigations into workplace issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate effective communication between employees and management.
Performance Management:
- Support the implementation and administration of performance review cycles, goal setting, and performance improvement plans.
- Coach managers and employees on performance management best practices.
- Identify and address performance gaps, working to enhance overall employee productivity and engagement.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in the administration of compensation programs, including salary benchmarking, annual reviews, and bonus schemes.
- Support the management of employee benefits programs (e. , health insurance, retirement plans), ensuring competitive offerings and effective communication.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related HR data.
HR Policy & Compliance:
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e. , FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and confidential employee information.
HR Strategy & Operations:
- Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as HRIS implementation, employee engagement surveys, and diversity & inclusion programs.
- Provide guidance and support to junior HR staff, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources roles, with a strong emphasis on generalist functions.
Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with compensation and benefits administration.
Skills:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
