Senior HR Business Partner - HR & Industrial Relations will be responsible for independently managing plant level HR operations and industrial relations at the manufacturing unit located in UP. The role requires a seasoned HR professional with strong exposure to factory HR, labor law compliance, union/worker handling, and statutory governance, ensuring smooth workforce operations and industrial harmony in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources (Plant HR):


- Manage end-to-end manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and separation for plant employees and contract labor.


- Oversee employee lifecycle management, including confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exits.


- Coordinate and administer performance management systems, appraisals, and annual increments.


- Drive employee engagement, welfare programs, and training coordination at the plant level.


- Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and HR MIS reports.

Industrial Relations (IR):


- Maintain cordial industrial relations with workmen, supervisors, and union representatives (if applicable).


- Handle grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and conflict resolution effectively.


- Support collective bargaining, wage settlements, and negotiations as required.


- Ensure smooth shop-floor HR operations with minimal disruption to production.

Statutory & Labor Law Compliance:


Ensure full compliance with applicable labor legislations, including:


- Factories Act


- Industrial Disputes Act


- Contract Labour (R&A) Act


- Minimum Wages Act


- PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements


- Prepare, maintain, and submit statutory registers, returns, and reports within defined timelines.


- Coordinate with labor department officials, inspectors, auditors, and legal consultants during inspections and audits.

Qualifications & Experience:


- Graduate with post-graduate qualification in HR / IR / Personnel Management (MBA HR / MSW / PGDPM preferred)


- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in HR & Industrial Relations, preferably in a manufacturing / factory setup


- Strong working knowledge of Indian labor laws and factory compliance


- Experience handling contract labor and shop-floor workforce
