Job Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Retail, SME, and Corporate Loans divisions. This role will work closely with business leaders to shape the people agenda, drive organizational effectiveness, and build a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will combine strong HR expertise with excellent business acumen to design and implement HR solutions that directly contribute to business success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Partnership: Collaborate with leadership teams across Retail, SME, and Corporate Loans divisions to understand business priorities, challenges, and workforce requirements, ensuring HR strategy is fully aligned with organizational goals.

2. Attrition & Competition Analysis: Conduct in-depth attrition studies and market benchmarking to identify trends, risk areas, and best practices; develop retention frameworks and competitive strategies to reduce turnover.

3. Manpower Budgeting & Workforce Planning: Lead annual and quarterly manpower planning exercises, ensuring optimal workforce allocation within budgetary guidelines, while addressing future talent pipeline needs.

4. Employee Engagement: Design and drive engagement programs that foster a positive work environment, enhance employee morale, and improve productivity; conduct regular pulse checks and recommend actionable interventions.

5. Succession Planning: Identify critical roles and high-potential employees; design career progression and succession plans to ensure long-term business continuity and leadership readiness.

6. Productivity & Efficiency Studies: Partner with business teams to conduct productivity analysis and organizational studies, recommending structural or process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

7. Talent Development: Assess skill gaps and create tailored development initiatives including training programs, leadership development, mentoring, and capability-building interventions to strengthen workforce competencies.

8. Performance Management (PMS): Anchor the goal-setting, mid-year, and annual appraisal process; ensure transparent and merit-driven performance evaluation while coaching managers to handle performance discussions effectively.

9. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business leaders, managers, and employees to act as a trusted HR advisor; influence decision-making through data-driven insights and people analytics.

Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong knowledge of the BFSI sector, especially lending businesses (Retail, SME & Corporate Loans) from Tier I/II campus only.

2. Highly analytical; able to leverage HR metrics, attrition data, and productivity insights for decision-making.

3. Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and interpersonal skills.

4. Excellent communication and presentation abilities; articulate with a strong executive presence.

5. A confident, number-driven, and resilient professional with the ability to handle dynamic business environments.

6. Balance between strategic HR thinking and hands-on execution.
