Senior Group Manager - Supply Chain

The Sr. Group Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for leading and optimizing end- to- end supply chain operations, including demand planning, supplier capacity planning, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics. This role requires driving operational excellence, building strategic supplier partnerships, and enabling scalability to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop a robust supplier ecosystem in India for mechanical portfolios such as metal machining, plastic machining, forgings, sheet- metal fabrication, and surface treatments.

- Establish a materials supply chain that consistently meets performance, cost, quality, capacity, and on- time delivery requirements.

- Drive the strategic vision for commodities, including supplier evaluation, sourcing, and ongoing relationship management to align with organizational goals.

- Act as the primary point of contact for escalations between manufacturing operations, engineering teams, and supply chain functions.

- Collaborate with cross- functional stakeholders to develop supplier selection processes for piece parts or outsourced assemblies, while proactively identifying supply chain risks to support sourcing decisions.

- Initiate and lead efforts to qualify second sources to ensure material availability, cost reduction, and reliability improvement.

- Define and monitor supplier performance metrics in line with annual operating plan objectives, ensuring continuous improvement and closing performance gaps.

- Deliver flawless execution of supply chain activities to achieve the highest standards of product and service quality in the eyes of customers.
