Description:
Job Title: Senior General Manager- Operations
Reporting To: VP-Operations
Job Scope:
To support and manage the delivery of operations and performance, oversee business integration projects, and ensure they are managed within budget and time constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure employees in Operations are trained and developed to meet business and succession needs.
- Monitor the implementation of agreed integration projects.
- Determine and manage the plan for deploying Effective Operations Excellence.
- Manage the budget and deliver implementation on budget.
- Lead and direct a virtual team across the country.
- Provide support and mentorship to Country Leadership for operational excellence.
- Project manage the integration of acquired businesses.
- Ensure processes for sustaining Effective Operations and continuous improvement.
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a logistics environment with a successful track record in operations.
- Experience in implementing change and understanding the local regulatory environment.
- Track record of running large, complex, and profitable operations.
Qualification:
Degree (or equivalent).
