Senior General Manager/General Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions

Role & responsibilities:
- Partner with Senior Leadership to develop and refine the inorganic growth strategy and overall funding plan for Company based on market intelligence and company goals
- Screen, prioritize, and recommend acquisition and partnership targets with a strategic fit
- Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including initial outreach, diligence, financial modeling, valuation, negotiations, and structuring
- Oversee cross-functional due diligence, collaborating with finance, legal and operations teams.
- Prepare and present transaction rationale and investment cases to Executive stakeholders and Board
- Support post-merger integration, collaborating with business and integration teams to capture synergies and maximize value creation
- Manage the fundraising process of Company from initial outreach through closing including due diligence, negotiation of terms, and legal documentation.
- Organize and lead investor meetings, roadshows, and presentations, representing the company and articulating its vision and value proposition
Preferred candidate profile:- 8 to 10 years of M&A experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategy consulting, or related fields.
- Proven track record of leading and closing at least 2-3 buy-side transactions, preferably for a corporate/in-house development team & or led successful equity fund raise processes with global private equity exposure.
- Expertise in financial modelling, valuation analysis (DCF, comps, precedent transactions), and due diligence.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- MBA- Finance from premier institute and or CFA, or other relevant credentials advantageous
