Senior Financial Controller - CA

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a large company in the manufacturing sector based in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 18 years of progressive experience, preferably within manufacturing or capital-intensive industries. Expertise in IFRS (or strong working knowledge) is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end financial management, including accounting, reporting, and statutory compliance.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS standards.

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.

- Monitor internal controls, risk management, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

- Lead finance teams and support business strategy through financial insights and reporting.

- Support cost control, capital expenditure reviews, and working capital optimization.

- Implement and improve financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and transparency.

Key Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 18+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong knowledge or hands-on experience in IFRS reporting and accounting.

- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and financial operations.

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
