Description:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a strong foundation in accounting to join our growing fintech team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats spanning financial analysis, accounting support, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

- Conduct thorough cost-benefit analysis to assess the financial viability and impact of business decisions and projects.

- Support daily monitoring and management of secured debt facilities, including borrowing base tracking, covenant compliance, lender reporting, cash flow forecasting, and debt-related accounting and analysis.

- Support responses to lender inquiries and coordinate with internal teams to gather data required for lender reporting.

- Monitor collateral quality and concentration, proactively identify potential covenant breaches or borrowing base shortfalls, and support internal controls over cash and debt activity.

- Partner with the accounting team on month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

- Work with large datasets to extract insights and identify trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and market trends.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business needs, and provide financial guidance and support.

- Support ad hoc financial projects and analyses as required.

Requirements:

- MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, FPA, or a similar role, preferably in a fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startup environment.

- Experience supporting or working with debt facilities, including exposure to borrowing base calculations, covenant monitoring, lender reporting, or interest expense tracking.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (GAAP); ability to understand cash/accrual differences.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
