Senior Finance Officer - Finance & Accounting - IT/SaaS

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

- Handle cross-border financial transactions, international remittances, and multi-currency settlements.

- Manage foreign exchange (FOREX) exposure and recommend appropriate hedging strategies to mitigate currency risks.

- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations to support business growth.

- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT requirements, and corporate taxation where applicable.

- Support budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

- Maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.

- Review contracts from a financial perspective and identify potential financial risks.

- Support statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

- Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

- Continuously improve finance processes and implement automation where feasible.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline. CFA degree would be preferred.

- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent will be preferred.

- 78 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.

- Prior experience working with an IT, SaaS, or software product company is mandatory.

- Demonstrated experience managing international financial transactions and multi-currency operations.

- Strong knowledge of treasury management, FOREX, currency risk management, and hedging techniques.

- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
