Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic real estate team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and taxation for our real estate projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, development teams, and senior leadership to ensure accurate financial data, insightful analysis, and sound financial decision-making. Your contributions will directly impact the profitability and success of our projects, driving sustainable growth for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, providing accurate and timely insights to senior management.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for real estate projects, incorporating market trends, cost projections, and revenue forecasts to support investment decisions.

- Lead the annual budgeting process, working with various departments to create realistic and achievable financial targets that align with the company's strategic objectives.

- Oversee the taxation function, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax optimization.

- Conduct variance analysis, investigating discrepancies between actual and budgeted results, and providing recommendations for corrective actions to improve financial performance.

- Evaluate potential investment opportunities, performing due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessments to support informed decision-making.

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS, providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders.

- Proven expertise in developing and managing budgets and forecasts, utilizing financial modeling techniques to project future performance.

- Strong understanding of real estate finance principles, including investment analysis, valuation, and risk management.

- In-depth knowledge of taxation laws and regulations, with the ability to identify and implement tax planning strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to senior management.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) preferred.

- Adaptable to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Bengaluru, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach.

- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in financial reporting, real estate finance, budgeting, forecasting, IFRS, taxation, and corporate finance.
