About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Senior Finance Manager to lead and strengthen our finance operations. This role is critical in ensuring robust financial management across budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and compliance. You will be instrumental in optimizing financial processes, driving accuracy in reporting, and partnering with key business units to support sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Zoho Books, Advanced Excel, and strong leadership capabilities in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts and Financial Operations:
- Oversee and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely billing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Implement controls to minimize revenue leakages and ensure cost optimization across departments.
- Monitor cash flow positions, analyze cash requirements, and plan for future cash needs.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process in alignment with business goals and departmental inputs.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis - Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Conduct variance analysis, and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the financial impact of strategic and operational decisions.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and regulatory requirements including TDS, GST, and Statutory Audits.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies during audits and assessments.
Process Optimization & Tools:
- Drive automation and improvements in financial workflows using Zoho Books, Advanced Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Create dashboards, trackers, and reports to enable data-driven financial decision-making.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts within the finance function.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performance culture.
- Ensure accurate delegation, continuous skill development, and collaborative goal setting within the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must-Have:
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within IT Services or Tech-enabled organizations.
- Strong expertise in Zoho Books and Advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, lookup functions, dashboards).
- Proven track record of managing AR/AP, cash flow, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
