Senior Finance Manager
Job Title: Sr. Personnel Finance
Location: Worli, Mumbai
Description:
The Sr. Finance Personnel will direct and control all Accounts & Finance related operations of the organization to ensure that commercial objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include directing and controlling operation related activities to ensure efficient and effective utilisation and projection of funds.
Role & responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
- Provide financial insights and reports to aid strategic and project-level decision-making.
- Develop and monitor grant budgets, major contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with tax and VAT norms.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, bank reconciliations, payroll, and benefits.
- Supervise preparation of MIS reports, monthly accounts, and cash flow analysis.
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely completion of year-end financial statements.
- Implement and maintain finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Participate in leadership meetings, contributing to strategic initiatives and cost-optimization strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and reporting standards for charitable trusts and CSR activities.
Preferred candidate profile:
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional degree.
Experience:
- 4-12 years in finance leadership roles, preferably within CSR, NGO, or large non-profit setups.
- Proven expertise in financial management, accounting, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in financial software and analytical tools.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic management skills.
- High integrity and strong communication abilities.
- Familiarity with the operational and compliance frameworks of large non-profit or charitable organizations will be an added advantage.
