Senior Finance Head - Finance & Accounts

About the Company:

We are a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, known for our excellence in operations, quality products, and strong market presence. As part of our growth and expansion strategy, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our Finance and Accounts function at our Chennai office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial planning processes.

- Drive strategic financial initiatives to support business growth and profitability.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.

- Manage internal audits, external audits, and liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions.

- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and ensure optimal utilization of financial resources.

- Provide financial insights to support senior management in decision-making.

- Evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

- Ensure robust internal controls and implement financial policies and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience.

- Proven track record in the manufacturing industry.

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

- Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an added advantage.

- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
