Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Analyze financial performance and variances to provide insights for management decision-making.

- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and profitability reviews to optimize financial operations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for various departments.

- Track and analyze actual financial performance against the budget, identifying areas for cost control and improvement.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

- Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and receivables.

- Ensure timely collections from customers and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.

- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Taxation & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, corporate tax, and other relevant statutory requirements.

- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in coordination with tax consultants.

- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance with industry-specific guidelines (Electricity Act, CERC/SERC regulations).

Audit & Internal Controls:

- Support internal and external audits by preparing financial data, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

- Strengthen internal financial controls, implementing best practices for financial operations and risk management.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

- Monitor cash flow projections and optimize liquidity to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.

- Manage treasury functions including banking, fund management, and cash flow optimization.

Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Management:

- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of CapEx approvals, budgets, and expenditures.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education - MBA in Finance or a related qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- Minimum 4 of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles

- Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and financial practices.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial accounting software (Tally).

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.

- Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools for financial reporting.
