SENIOR FINANCE CONSULTANT

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) direct reports to: CEO

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Senior Finance Consultant with 6 to 10 years of experience to serve as a strategic finance partner to the leadership team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role requiring someone who can independently drive financial planning, business partnering, commercial finance, controllership, and operational finance across a fast-growing global business. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with commercial acumen and is comfortable operating with minimal supervision while partnering directly with the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

- Own budgeting, forecasting, annual operating plans, long-range planning, and scenario modelling.

- Prepare monthly business and consolidated P&Ls with variance analysis, business insights, and forward-looking projections.

- Partner with business leaders to improve profitability, pricing, unit economics, and commercial decision-making.

- Provide analytical insights into business performance by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, enabling proactive decision-making and improved financial outcomes.

- Support executive decision-making through business case evaluations, profitability analysis, and strategic recommendations across key commercial and operational initiatives.

- Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting to drive business performance.

- Partner with business leaders to identify and execute cost optimization initiatives across all functions, improving profitability and operational efficiency.

- Support fundraising, investor reporting, financial due diligence, and board presentations.

- Drive working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and multi-country financial consolidation.

- Review commercial contracts and strategic partnerships from a financial and risk perspective

- Strengthen financial controls, governance, compliance, and audit readiness.

- Drive finance automation and continuous process improvement initiative.

- Support strategic investments, acquisitions, and corporate development initiatives.

Nice to Have

- Experience across multiple industries

- Exposure to multi-country / multi-entity financial consolidation.

- 6-8 years of experience and can Independently serve as a strategic finance partner to the leadership team.
