Designation: Sr Executive/Asst Manager/Manager-Motorsports
Work Location: Chennai
Goals:
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of motorsport events and oversee day- to day operations of our race and rally activities including sale of motorsport tyres as a business vertical
Race & Rally Management:
- Oversee the COMPANY/ORGANISATION branding erecting and maintenance of the COMPANY/ORGANISATION branding in the motorsports track at Sriperumbudur.
- Ensure all safety protocols, operational procedures, and technical standards are strictly followed.
- Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to keep the track and associated infrastructure in top condition.
- Schedule and monitor track usage for events, practice sessions of COMPANY/ORGANISATION with concerned track authorities.
- Maintain a complete calendar of events COMPANY/ORGANISATION is associated/ conducting across Motorsports categories all over and update/share with concerned stakeholders from time to time
Event Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute all activities beginning from planning tyre supplies/ delivery to branding/ coordination with promoter/ organizer for the races/ rallies, ancillary promotional material including caps, t-shirts/uniforms, motorsport events including races, exhibitions, , training sessions, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with event partners, sponsors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth event execution.
- Handle logistics, agreements/permits, and compliance requirements for all motorsport events.
- Prepare event schedules, manage registrations, and ensure timely communication with participants and stakeholders.
Sales - Customer & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers/ participants, and organizers.
- Provide high-quality customer service and resolve operational or service-related issues promptly.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and continuously improve customer/ track owner/ user/ event and track experiences.
Social Media - Customer & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers/ participants, and organizers.
- Be able to handle all social media activities including posts/ reels/ stories/ and get updates with news and articles on all social media
- Respond to queries on Social media, keep track of these and ensure resolution/ addressing them at the earliest
Administrative & Reporting Duties:
- Maintain event and operational documentation, including estimates/ invoices/ contracts/ agreements/ inventory management of tyres/ promotional material stock & supply
- Maintain the vehicles used for Motorsport division
- Monitor budgets and expenditures related to all motorsport events and operations. Generate and present regular reports on tyre performance, events, event performance, and operational KPIs.
Skills:
- Good Planning and administration skills.
- Hands-on experience in Motorsports event management and coordination
- Good verbal ,written communication and interpersonal skills
Required Qualification/ Age/Work experience:
- Graduation/PG
- Age maximum up to 35 yrs.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Motorsports, event coordination and administration
- Travel Willingness to travel PAN India as and when required
- Should be able to work Weekends as all events throughout the year are only on weekends
