Senior ERP Functional Consultant

- We are looking for an experienced Senior ERP Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end functional activities across ERP implementation, enhancement, and support projects.

- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ERP business processes, solution design, requirement analysis, and stakeholder management. This role involves close collaboration with clients, business users, and technical teams to deliver scalable ERP solutions that align with organizational goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary client interface for ERP functional requirements; conduct workshops to gather, analyze, and document business processes across modules.

- Lead ERP solution design, configuration, and functional implementation while leveraging product capabilities and identifying customization gaps.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and quality oversight to junior functional consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business priorities, provide proactive solutions, manage expectations, and ensure high client satisfaction.

- Prepare and review test plans, lead UAT cycles, validate functional specifications, and support post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution.

- Work with Project Managers on planning, timelines, resource allocation, risk tracking, and ensuring functional milestones are delivered on schedule.

- Develop and deliver ERP user training; create and maintain comprehensive functional documents, including BRDs, process flows, functional specs, and configuration guides.

- Continuously assess ERP processes to identify improvement opportunities and stay updated with latest ERP features, industry practices, and emerging technologies.

- Support presales by delivering product demos, preparing estimates, assisting in high-level solutioning, and contributing to proposal development.

- Enhance personal expertise through regular client interaction, learning new ERP modules/features, attending industry events, and mentoring cross-functional teams.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- 4-8 years of experience as an ERP Functional Consultant across implementation and support projects.

- Strong understanding of ERP business processes (Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, HR, or relevant domains depending on product).

- Ability to lead requirement workshops, map as-is/to-be processes, and translate needs into functional specifications.

- Hands-on experience with ERP configuration, validation, UAT, and end-user training.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience in mentoring juniors and working in cross-functional project teams.

- Continuous learning mindset with knowledge of ERP best practices and upcoming features.
