Senior Equity Research Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced "Senior Equity Research Analyst" to join our team at "Steptrade Share Services Private Limited." The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial markets, a passion for equity research, and the ability to guide investment strategies through deep analysis and informed insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive research and fundamental analysis of equities, industries, and macroeconomic trends.

- Generate actionable investment ideas based on thorough financial modelling, valuation techniques, and trend analysis.

- Monitor market movements, economic indicators, and corporate actions that may impact investment performance.

- Prepare detailed research reports, stock recommendations, and sectoral outlooks for internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with high-net-worth clients (HNIs), institutional investors, and stakeholders to support portfolio construction and growth strategies.

- Ensure robust risk assessment and incorporate risk-mitigating strategies in investment recommendations.

- Present research findings and investment theses to the management and clients in a clear and concise manner.

- Stay up to date with SEBI regulations and financial market developments.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience required after completions of master's or any Professional degree in equity research, investment advisory, or portfolio analysis.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in financial modelling and valuation tools.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Hands-on experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, MS Excel (advanced level), and other financial tools.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment with high attention to detail.
