Senior Education Practice Leader

Job Description:

We are looking for a senior Education Practice Leader to drive the strategic agenda, portfolio growth, partnerships, and delivery of large-scale education initiatives.

Location: New Delhi / Gurgaon / Mumbai / Bengaluru

Travel: As required

Experience: 15+ Years

CTC: 40-55 LPA (depending on experience & skill set)

Employment: Fixed-Term Contract

What You'll Lead:

- Shape the strategic direction of the Education Practice and identify emerging priorities.

- Provide strategic guidance across early childhood, primary, secondary education, life skills & socio-emotional learning.

- Work closely with state and central governments to strengthen public education systems and drive systemic change.

- Build relationships with foundations, philanthropies, multilaterals, academia, civil society, and senior government stakeholders.

- Support strategic business development and help shape and close high-impact education engagements.

- Represent the practice at national and global forums, conferences, and sector platforms.

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team while overseeing complex multi-donor portfolios.

- Drive client relationships, project quality, financial oversight, and portfolio growth.

We are Looking For:

- 15+ years of experience in education, with strong experience designing and executing education programmes.

- Deep understanding of public education systems and government partnerships.

- Breadth across multiple education domains rather than a single specialization.

- Strong experience engaging with philanthropic funders and senior ecosystem stakeholders.

- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in consulting, multilaterals, or ecosystem organisations is an advantage.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a practice area.
