Job Title: Senior Director - Talent Acquisition (India Head)
Reports To: Global Head of Talent Acquisition
Location: Bangalore ( Hybrid)
Exp Range :18 to 22yrs
Salary Budget :65lacs P/A Including variable
Role Overview
As a Senior Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and scale our hiring operations across India. The role will focus on high-volume hiring, building a future-ready talent engine, and ensuring consistent delivery across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will come from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 IT Services company with extensive experience managing large-scale recruitment programs (10,000+ annual hires) and building high-performing recruitment teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute Indias Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business growth and workforce planning.
- Build a scalable hiring engine for technology, shared services, and niche skillsets.
- Drive a balance of volume hiring (graduates, laterals) and strategic hires (leadership, niche skills).
Operational Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end hiring for 5000+ hires annually across multiple geographies and business lines.
- Implement AI, automation, and digital hiring platforms for faster, bias-free, and cost-effective recruitment.
- Optimize recruitment funnel KPIs (time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratio, cost per hire).
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead and mentor a team of 100+ recruiters, managers, and TA partners.
- Manage campus hiring programs across Tier 1/Tier 2 universities.
- Establish strong partnerships with external agencies, job boards, RPOs, and technology vendors.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with CXOs, business leaders, and delivery heads to forecast demand and deliver timely workforce solutions.
- Collaborate with HRBP, L&D, and Workforce Planning teams to ensure seamless onboarding and workforce readiness.
Employer Branding
- Strengthen Indias employer brand through university partnerships, digital branding, and social media campaigns.
- Position the organization as an employer of choice for technology and services talent.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, DEI commitments, and global hiring standards.
- Establish data-driven reporting dashboards for leadership.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 1520 years in Talent Acquisition with at least 8+ years in volume hiring leadership roles at Tier 1/Tier 2 IT services companies
- Proven track record of managing large-scale hiring (5K10k hires annually).
- Experience in campus hiring, lateral hiring, and leadership hiring.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment technologies, ATS systems, AI hiring tools, and digital sourcing strategies.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment.
