Senior Director - Operational Effectiveness - Functional PMO - US Healthcare

Role : Senior Director - Operational Effectiveness Leader (Functional PMO).

Location : Bangalore, India.

Experience : 17+ years overall

- 10+ years in US Healthcare preferred.

- We are hiring on behalf of a global, publicly listed healthcare operations and business transformation organisation with a strong international delivery footprint and deep US Healthcare domain expertise.

- This is a senior functional PMO leadership role that blends hands-on execution with strategic thinking.

- The mandate spans healthcare risk and compliance, payer account management, and end-to-end PMO governance for large global accounts.

About the Role :

You will own compliance and operational effectiveness across healthcare and payer accounts, while driving PMO planning, transitions, and client coordination.

The role calls for a leader who is equally comfortable connecting the dots at a strategic level and digging deep into execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Healthcare Risk & Compliance :

- Oversee overall compliance for healthcare-related activities and payer accounts.

- Manage compliance across ISO / ISMS / SOC standards, with exposure to HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 27001 and ISO 31000 frameworks.

- Negotiate terms and conditions for larger global accounts.

- Manage the complete MIS for payer accounts, including attendance, revenue, P&L and data management.

Project Management Office (Functional) :

- Drive planning and mapping processes within the PMO.

- Lead seat allocation, site strategy and logistics for new business transitions.

- Act as a key point of client coordination, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

- Manage customer visits and own customer satisfaction across the project lifecycle.

What You Bring :

- Proven experience across Healthcare Compliance and PMO leadership roles.

- Working familiarity with ISO / ISMS / SOC / HIPAA / HITRUST standards and contract management.

- 17+ years of overall experience, with 10+ years in US Healthcare preferred.

- Strong negotiation skills for handling larger global accounts.

- A strategic, hands-on leader with strong stakeholder management, influencing skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
