Role Overview:
We are looking for a Sr. Director - Digital Marketing to lead Companies performance and growth marketing charter end-to-end. This is a leadership role responsible for driving customer acquisition, growth efficiency, and revenue impact across large-scale paid marketing programs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep experience in performance marketing, large budget ownership, and team leadership in a growth-stage or scaled tech company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive end-to-end paid marketing strategy and execution across channels
- Manage and optimize large-scale annual marketing budgets (- 50 Cr+ annually)
- Lead multi-channel performance marketing including:
- Google (Search, Display, YouTube)
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram)
- App campaigns (UAC, Apple Search Ads)
- Programmatic
- Affiliate & partner channels
- Drive measurable impact on CAC, LTV, revenue growth, GM/CM, and profitability
- Build scalable frameworks for experimentation, attribution, and performance tracking
- Partner closely with Product, Analytics, Finance, and Business teams to align growth goals
- Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams (7+ members), ideally with people managers reporting in
- Drive continuous optimization through data, insights, and structured experimentation
- Present performance, insights, and growth plans to senior leadership
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in digital/performance marketing
- 3-4+ years of experience at Director / Senior Director level
- Proven experience leading end-to-end paid marketing for a large-scale consumer or business
- Strong multi-channel expertise - not a single-channel specialist
- Experience managing large budgets (- 50 Cr+ annually)
- Has worked in a growth-stage or scaled tech company (startup or product-led org preferred; not agency-only)
- Strong track record of measurable business impact (CAC reduction, revenue growth, margin improvement)
- Experience leading and scaling teams with 7+ members
- Strategic thinker with strong execution rigor and data-driven mindset
What We Are NOT Looking For:
- Candidates with primarily product marketing / brand-only backgrounds
- Agency-only profiles without hands-on ownership of large budgets
- Single-channel specialists without holistic performance exposure
Education:
- MBA or equivalent preferred
- Tier 1 / Tier 2 colleges strongly preferred
