Position: Senior Director & Head-Credit Risk Consulting Practice

Role:

- The Company is seeking a seasoned Credit Risk Advisory Team Lead to anchor the Mumbai practice and serve as a cornerstone of its client-facing consultancy offering

- This leadership role requires a proven track record experience spanning consultancy, credit risk methodologies, and stakeholder engagement.

- Beyond technical expertise, the successful candidate will be a cultural ambassador for the local office. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded leader to shape both the team and the client agenda.

- Team leadership and management, ability to create a positive and growth mindset oriented culture

- Work with the team on Model and Scorecard development, Documentation and Policy framework development

Requirements:

- 15+ yrs of extensive experience in a rating agency/ credit risk practice in a Big 4 or consulting firm/ risk management in a Bank along with some consulting experience

- Exposure to rating methodologies, credit frameworks, or risk model advisory - is essential, with direct Risk Advisory consultancy experience preferred.

- Demonstrable client-facing experience with a track record of managing senior stakeholder as a consultant

- Strong background in credit risk solutions - including credit frameworks, rating methodologies (e.g. Basel III/IV, RBI guidelines)

- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams

- Cultural leader - capable of embedding and carrying team values across the local office

- Familiarity with regulatory credit risk frameworks

- Experience in model governance, documentation, and regulatory review processes

- Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development, pitches, and client proposals

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentation

- Experience operating within a matrixed, global organisation

- Strong executive presence

- Ability to support with pre-sales solutioning
