Senior Deputy General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Technical & Design - Manufacturing

Job Title: Sr. DGM / DGM - Technical & Design

Location: Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead product design, simulations, analysis, and optimization to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

- Ensure alignment of product designs with customer specifications, regulatory norms, and global quality standards.

- Manage BOM finalization, cost estimations, and coordination with costing and procurement teams.

- Oversee laboratories and type testing activities, including coordination with accredited national and international test labs.

- Identify technical and business risks in design and execution, implementing effective mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, marketing, packaging, and logistics teams for seamless project execution.

- Drive new product development, technology upgradation, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.

- Provide expert technical support during customer meetings, bids, audits, and product promotions.

- Represent the organization at industry seminars, conferences, and technical forums.

- Develop technical documentation, SOPs, guidelines, and training programs to support organizational excellence.

- Mentor and develop engineering and quality teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Core Competencies:

- Strong expertise in transformer winding wires, transformer design interfaces, and manufacturing processes

- Provide regular updates to senior management on technical performance, quality metrics, and innovation initiatives and Maintain strict confidentiality and protection of intellectual property.

- In-depth knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 50001).

- Proficiency in process automation, Industry 4.0, digitalization, and advanced quality tools.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
