Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives within the Retail industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure DevOps, coupled with proven experience overseeing complex cross-functional IT programs. This role involves managing client expectations, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring alignment of data-driven solutions with business outcomes in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Oversee full project delivery lifecycle-from planning and requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.

- Lead multi-disciplinary teams (data engineers, BI developers, cloud architects, QA) to deliver scalable retail-focused analytics and data platforms.

- Drive adoption and implementation of Databricks for data processing, transformation, and analytics.

- Manage Power BI and Fabric-based reporting, dashboards, and data modeling to support retail KPIs (sales, inventory, supply chain, customer analytics, etc.).

- Ensure best practices in CI/CD, automated deployment, and versioning using Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with retail business stakeholders, product owners, and technical architects to translate business and functional requirements into actionable project plans.

- Monitor delivery progress, risks, budget, scope, and quality; implement mitigation plans.

- Establish governance frameworks and Agile methodologies to streamline delivery

- Act as primary point of escalation and manage client communication and expectation alignment.

- Track key delivery metrics and performance indicators while ensuring SLA compliance.

Required Skills:

- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in delivery or program management roles.

- Proven domain experience in Retail and familiarity with areas such as merchandising, POS, customer experience, e-commerce, supply chain, and inventory.

- Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, ETL pipelines)

- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboarding)

- Microsoft Fabric

- Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, boards, repos)

- Strong background delivering analytics and cloud transformation projects.

- Exceptional stakeholder and vendor management skills.
