In this role, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge research, developing innovative AI solutions to address complex challenges in the financial services industry. You will collaborate with teams from academic institutes, data scientists, and engineers to push the boundaries of AI and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

- Research and Development: Conduct advanced research in areas such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.

- Model Development: Design, develop, and implement sophisticated AI models to solve real-world problems in finance, including fraud detection, risk assessment and customer insights.

- Data Analysis: Analyse large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform decision-making.

- Experimentation: Conduct rigorous experiments to evaluate the performance of AI models and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, academia to translate research findings into practical applications.

- Publication: Publish research papers in top-tier conferences and journals.

- Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and learning.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Hands on 10 - 15 years of experience in research projects in AI space

- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with a strong focus on AI and machine learning.

- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and statistical learning.

- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages.

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, SQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Familiarity with financial industry concepts and regulations is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
