Senior Data Scientist - Gen AI - Bank/FinTech

Role Summary:

Looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong NLP and GenAI expertise to build and deploy AI/LLM models for credit risk, fraud detection, text analytics, and document automation using financial and bureau data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build NLP models for NER, sentiment analysis, document classification, and risk insights

- Develop GenAI solutions for summarization, chatbots, and automated document processing

- Work with large-scale financial/bureau data for credit underwriting and segmentation

- Fine-tune LLMs (Transformers) and implement embeddings, vector DBs, and RAG pipelines

- Collaborate with credit, risk, and business teams to integrate AI models

- Deploy scalable AI solutions on AWS/GCP/Azure

Required Skills:

- Strong Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face, SpaCy

- Hands-on LLMs, fine-tuning, prompt engineering

- SQL + Spark/PySpark for large data handling

- Experience in financial/bureau/transaction data

- Knowledge of vector DBs, embeddings, knowledge graphs

Good to Have:

- GenAI apps, chatbots, RAG, speech-to-text

- Credit risk/fraud modeling exposure

- Experience in NBFC/Bank/FinTech environments
