Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon/Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical solutions to drive data-informed decisions across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve business outcomes. Your work will directly impact our ability to understand customer behavior, optimize processes, and mitigate risks, ultimately contributing to the growth and profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and fraud detection to enhance business performance and mitigate risks.

- Conduct in-depth statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making for senior management.

- Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of new products, features, and marketing campaigns, ensuring data-driven optimization.

- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports, facilitating data literacy across the organization.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytical purposes.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling techniques, and predictive analytics methodologies.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience using relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.

- A Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to evolving business needs.

- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data science, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
