Senior Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists.

- Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize data science opportunities.

- Lead development of predictive models to aid business decisions - entire life cycle including data exploration, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

- Communicate recommendations & findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ensure the quality, integrity, and governance of data assets and models, thorough reviews and adhering to best practices.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science & machine learning, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, & Gen AI and explore their potential applications.

- Work on POC's to evaluate and implement new technologies, algorithms, and methodologies within the data science team.

- Champion data-driven decision making across the organization and foster a culture of data literacy.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant machine learning libraries.

- Solid understanding of applied statistical concepts and of classification & regression models.

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data scientists.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in Cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, etc.
