Senior Data Governance Consultant

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Consultant to lead and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in governance tools like Collibra, along with hands-on experience in data quality, lineage, and metadata management across modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement enterprise data governance frameworks and policies

- Work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams to ensure governed datasets

- Configure and manage data governance tools (Collibra or similar)

- Establish data lineage, metadata management, and data cataloging practices

- Implement and monitor data quality rules and validation frameworks

- Drive data stewardship programs and governance adoption across teams

- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices

- Collaborate on data pipelines and DataOps processes for governance integration

Core Skills & Requirements:

- Strong experience in Data Governance and Data Management frameworks

- Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar tools (Qualytics, Alation, etc.)

- Strong SQL and data analysis skills

- Experience working with Snowflake and modern data platforms

- Understanding of data pipelines and DataOps concepts

Expertise in:

- Data Lineage

- Metadata Management

- Data Cataloging

- Data Quality & Validation

- Good understanding of data warehouse and reporting structures

- Ability to independently drive governance initiatives and implementations

Good to Have:

- Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain

- Exposure to enterprise data governance tools ecosystem

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data policies

Education:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
