Role Overview

The Credit Analyst will play a key role in underwriting and risk management for there commercial electric vehicle leasing portfolio. The role involves evaluating credit proposals for fleet operators and commercial vehicle customers, with a strong emphasis on cash-flow-based analysis and operating risk assessment.

Working closely with business and operations teams, the Credit Analyst will support transaction structuring aligned with asset life and operating realities, while ensuring adherence to credit policies and risk standards. This role requires sound credit judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-growing, asset-heavy environment.

What you'll own:

- End-to-end credit appraisal and underwriting for Commercial Vehicle, fleet, and Electric Vehicle operators

- Cash-flow based underwriting, Debt Service Coverage Ratio analysis, and detailed Credit Appraisal Memorandum preparation

- Structuring transactions aligned to asset life, residual values, and operating risks

- Portfolio monitoring, stress testing, and early warning signal identification

- Partnering with policy, analytics, and business teams to evolve credit frameworks

- Supporting rollout and adoption of digital Loan Origination Systems, scorecards, and scalable underwriting processes

- Providing credit inputs for new product launches and pilot programs, ensuring risk is embedded at the design stage.

What we're looking for:

- 6-10 years of experience in Commercial Vehicle, fleet, or vehicle finance credit

- Strong grounding in cash-flow lending, operating asset risk, and fleet economics

- Experience with Non-Banking Financial Companies, banks, leasing companies, or new-age lenders

- Strong Credit Appraisal Memorandum writing, credit structuring, and analytical skills

- Ability to balance risk discipline with turnaround time and growth objectives

- Comfortable working in high-ownership, fast-paced startup environments

- Exposure to Electric Vehicles, mobility, or logistics is a strong advantage

Experience & Skills

- 6-10 years of experience in credit underwriting, credit risk, or lending roles

- Proven exposure to commercial vehicle, fleet, or asset-backed lending

- Prior experience with NBFCs, banks, or leasing and financing platforms

- Strong capability in cash-flow-based analysis and independent credit judgment

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills
