Senior Credit Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive credit appraisals of loan applications, analyzing financial statements, industry trends, and market conditions to assess borrower's ability to repay.

- Structure credit facilities, negotiate terms and conditions, and prepare credit proposals for approval, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor credit portfolio performance, identify early warning signals, and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses.

- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, business development teams, and risk management, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and legal requirements in all credit-related activities.

- Mentor and train junior credit analysts, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.

- Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth financial analysis and credit risk assessment, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial modeling techniques.

- Proven ability to structure complex credit facilities and negotiate terms and conditions that balance risk and reward.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate credit risks.

- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to lending activities.

- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
